Ducts
|
Methods available for joining duct intersections.
-
Elbow - Joins ducts with an elbow
fitting for any angle, or an elbow/transition fitting combination if the joined
components differ in size or shape.
-
Takeoff - Joins ducts with a takeoff
fitting for any angle, or a takeoff/transition fitting combination if the
joined components differ in size or shape. The first duct selected is broken,
and is then attached to the second duct.
-
Double Takeoff - Joins crossing duct
intersections with two takeoffs for any angle, or takeoff/transition fitting
combinations if the joined components differ in size or shape. The first duct
selected is broken, and the broken segments are then attached to the second
duct.
-
Tap - Joins ducts with a tap fitting for
any angle, or a tap/transition fitting combination if the joined components
differ in size or shape.
-
Tee - Joins perpendicular ducts with a
tee fitting, or a tee/transition fitting combination if the joined components
differ in size or shape. The first duct selected is broken, and is then
attached to the second duct.
-
Cross - Joins perpendicular duct
intersections with a cross fitting, or a cross/transition fitting combination
if the joined components differ in size or shape.
-
Ogee - Joins only aligned rectangular
duct at different elevations with an ogee fitting.

Pipes
|
Methods available for joining pipe intersections.
-
Elbow - Joins pipes with an
elbow fitting for any angle, or an elbow/transition fitting combination if the
joined components differ in size or shape.
-
Tee - Joins perpendicular
and angled pipe intersections with a tee fitting. The first pipe selected is
broken, and is then attached to the second pipe. Tees are automatically
selected from available manufacturer catalogs.
-
Cross - Joins perpendicular
pipe intersections with a cross fitting, or a cross/transition fitting
combination if the joined components differ in size or shape.
-
Wye - Joins pipe intersections at
standard angles of 30°, 45° and 60° with a wye fitting.
